Subcutaneously, in the morning on an empty stomach — 30–60 min before food. Ideally on training days, 1–2 hours before the workout.
MOTS-c is a mitochondrial peptide (16 amino acids) encoded by mitochondrial DNA. It activates the AMPK pathway — the cell’s main "energy sensor". It accelerates glucose utilization in muscle, improves insulin sensitivity, and stimulates beta-oxidation of fatty acids. Endogenous MOTS-c levels decline with age.
